What to do
Festival Murmullo
When art becomes part of the landscape
Murmullo is one of the most unique cultural events in the Valle de Ricote.
A festival where contemporary creativity engages with nature, architecture and the identity of the region, transforming squares, fruit groves, viewpoints and everyday places into open-air stages for music, art and shared emotion.
Far from large-scale events and noise, Murmullo offers an intimate cultural experience deeply connected to the surroundings. Sunset concerts, artisticperformances, temporary installations and performing arts turn the valley into a living space where visitors can discover a new way to engage with its culture.
The festival takes place in various towns in the Valle de Ricote, integrating the area’s historical and natural heritage into the artistic experience. Churches, narrow streets, old buildings, traditional fruit orchards and viewpoints become part of the festival’s very language, creating a unique connection between the landscape and contemporary creation.
Murmullo doesn’t aim to impose itself on the area.
It aims to listen to it.
That’s why every event is tailored to the rhythm of the valley, respecting its silences, its identity and its unhurried way of inhabiting time. The music blends with the sound of the water, the light shifts across the mountains, and the landscape ceases to be a backdrop to become the star of the show.
More than a festival, Murmullo is an invitation to experience culture through closeness, contemplation and sensitivity to the surroundings.
An experience where art unfolds without artifice.
Just as almost everything happens here: slowly, naturally and leaving its mark.
